Pass a shell garage walking behind it to the right to enter Boxley nature reserve. Leave the NDW when it goes left by continuing ahead. Go right over farmland and then left towards Boxley Church. Climb the path back up to the top of the downs to turn left and re-join the NDW. Follow this until radio masts are on your right, here go right, leaving the NDW, walking past the right hand mast.
