Details:

A road-based walk on quiet minor roads. It begins easily and then climbs a hill to Uppacott, from where you can enjoy good views of Codden Hill and Barnstaple, before descending once more to Tawstock. From Barstaple or further afield, turn off the A39 onto the B3232 to Great Torrington, then turn left after about half a mile to Eastacombe and Tawstock. You can park at the Village Hall.
