  1. Nent Valley Family Ramble (route)
    This is the ideal route for a gentle country ramble, whilst avoiding difficult terrain it takes in beautifal, contrasting landscapes. Park by the second River Nent crossing east of Alston. Follow the footpath on your left and follow the meandaring yet occansionly ferocious River Nent until you reach a bridge on your right. Cross the bridge and continue past Corby Gates Farm (beware of the cows in the preceeding field) until reaching the picturesque country village of Blagill. Turn right and continue along the road leading south out of Blagill until you reach the crossing by which you parked. Alternativeley continue to the market town of Alston and return as shown.
  2. Knock Fell (route)
    Knock Fell is part of the long Pennine escarpment that eventually rises to Cross Fell. This walk gives good views to the West
  3. Dufton's enchanted grotto (route)
    Most people arrive at Dufton hostel tired from walking the Pennine way, completely unaware of the enchanted grotto just behind the hostel. Try this as a short evening or before breakfast walk and discover what few other than local dog walkers know about.
  4. Derwentwater, Keswick & Walla Crag (route)
    Beginning from Keswick, we complete an anti-clockwise circuit of Derwentwater, before ascending Walla Crag to a spectacular viewpoint.
  5. Ullswater South Figure of Eight (route)
    A figure-of-eight off-road ride to the south of ullswater with some big ups and great downhills.
  6. Eskdale Circuit (route)
    A three day hike around Eskdale, taking in Slight Side, Sca Fell, Lingcove Bridge, Hard Knott and Harter Fell.
