A lovely 6.5 - 7 miles (10.5 - 11 km)circular walk through 4 small farming villages. the whole route except for about 0.5 miles is off road along public footpaths. one of many highlights would be walking through the managed woods (Overhill Grove) between Knapwell and Boxworth. Which open up onto a lovely hill meadow ( a rare thing in these parts).fantastic hilltop views over cambridgeshire. On a clear day it's possible to see the wind farm at Warboys. Boxworth, Connington and Elsworth all have excellents Pubs for a quick break or a longer for lunch. the Pub at Boxworth, The Golden Ball, would be a fine place to park during the walk )and eat after the walk.i cannot confirm this would be allowed although the staff are very nice and if not busy may not mind. they are very busy on Sundays.
