Footpath takes you to Birdwood Grove then up to main road & cross over. Back to Delme Arms and retrace your steps to the White Horse Pub.

A circular walk from Cirencester. Fairly flat with a "Good pub guide" pub half way - the New Inn in Coln St Aldwyns.

quiet road with footpath for the last bit to and from Sissinghurst gardens

  7. Brixworth & Scaldwell (route)
From Brixworth library take Holcot Road over A508. Take left turn to Scaldwell, following road into the village and then out on Old Road. At the next junction by the small wood, turn left up the hill towards Lamport, passing farm buildings to your left and right. Take a bridleway on left next to stone cottage, across parkland, (if muddy, carry on to village, left at pub) emerging on main road opposite Hanging Houghton. Cross CAREFULLY, passing through village, down lane and left onto Brampton Valley Way. Follow back to Brixworth Station site, leaving on the left hand side before the road bridge crosses the BVW. Cycle up steep hill towards Brixworth village turn up Frog Hall, turn right at T junction with Spratton Road and return to start.
  8. bispham to larkholme (route)
A very flat run I'm using to increase my miles. Nice views all the way round and it is completely different on the way back. On the way up you can see the lakes, Barrow and IOM on a good day and on the way back you can see the North Blackpool skyline come into view. Running by the sea at high tide is always fun as well
  9. NCN Proposed Route 53 (Rugby to Kettering) (route)
A quite flat, on-road route to Kettering. Unfortunately it isn't yet an official National Cycle Network route so isn't signposted so take a map.
  10. The Wassand 6 Mile Circular (route)
Gentle flat route. If travelled by car, park in Seaton Car Park (next to the Swan Inn) - this is a public car park, not the pub's. Good views of Hornsea Mere leading to Hornsea. Then through Hornsea, onto the old railway line. Turn off this near Goxhill, then it leads to pleasant open farmland returning back to Seaton Pub for a pint of bitter. (The Swan Inn is a CAMRA pub!)
