End of the World[Ham]
(route)
The proposed South Downs National Park northern boundary is at East Worldham. This simple route provides an easy uphill cycle way from the A31 or station at Bentley to the park boundary. From West Worldham you can divert to the popular tourist villages of Chawton or Selborne, or dismount to walk the peaceful hangers above Oakhanger. There's a friendly pub at East Worldham.

East Dean to Houghton
(route)
20 mile circular moutain bike route on the South Downs.
Start at the car park at Droke and an easy cycle into East Dean gets the legs going before a long climb onto the South Downs Way. Follow the main route to Houghton where there is a pub selling good food and real ale. Don't drink too much though, as the pull up to the A29 is long and you continue up hill for a further 2 miles. The last stretch is easy going with a section of road and an enjoyable down hill section to finish with.
Take your time and enjoy the scenery.
Note, this route can be started from several car parks or the station at Amberley.
