North Kidderminster Circular Cycle

An hour's ride for hybrids or ATBs on quiet roads, towpaths and bridleways starting from and finishing at Sainsbury's carpark. There is a good view over the town along the bridleway just after Low Habberley farm. The Bridleway running ESE from Low Habberley into Franche is blocked by fallen trees in a couple of places.
The Lock at Wolverley is a fantastic, but busy pub.

Nottingham City Canal cycle ride

Enjoy the Nottingham Canal, the Erewash canal, Trent river, Wollaton Park and Bramcote ridge. It doesn't get any better than this for city cycling.

3 Locks, Towpath, Sand, Forest, Meadow, Jungle, Road, Pub Lunch

From the car park at 3 Locks, walk past the pub along the towpath.
When you get to the Paper Mill Road bridge turn right up the road which turns into a bridleway as you climb the hill.
Cross over the road and into a narrow green path past lakes and up into the woods. Take the Greensand Ridge walk south until you see a path across a meadow leading down the hill.
After crossing the road you will come to a cottage, before which you need to turn right into a permissive footpath.
This section was overgrown (called the Millenium Path, probably not maintained since 2000!) though eventually leads through some fields back to the road.
Follow the road south and right at the island junction back to the car park.
Retire to the pub for lunch.
