Cloth Cap Club Presteigne to Knighton
(route)
Another Cloth Cap Club weekend jaunt. The Cloth Cap Club is the youth section of the Kidderminster Male Choir, and twice a year we break free of North Worcestershire and head to our spiritual homeland, the pub. We try to walk during the day to keep us busy, and generally go to Wales, cos they like to hear men singing there. This one we met in Presteigne and stayed there Friday night. Walked to Knighton and stayed there at the inimitable George and Dragon, and walked back (somehow) the following day. Great walk along the dyke. Just bring your earplugs in case we come back.

My Favourite Drive
(route)
Beginning with a stretch in the mountains from Mach and then join the sinuous and scenic B4518 to Llanidloes and on to Rhaeadr. I could drive backwards and forwards all day every day.
