1. Aran Fawddwy wildcamp (route)
   If you live far away, this backpack route makes a good three day trip.
2. Royal deeside backpack (route)
   A circular (ish) route around royal Deeside suitable for backpacking (3 days), though you can extract some day walks from this. Note this passes through the roayl estate (which is closed during royal residence in the late Summer).

   This two day backpack takes you through a quiet forgotten corner of Wales.
4. High Close to Borrowdale (route)
   An interhostel backpacking route from High Close to Borowdale. This links with several other routes across the Lakes
5. Kendal to Patterdale (route)
   A two day backpack route to Patterdale Hostel, staying overnight at Mosedale bothy
6. Ambleside to High Close (route)
   A shorter inter-hostel route in the Lakes
7. Patterdale to Ambleside (route)
   Another inter-hostel route in the Lakes. This one involves a climb up the steep part of Red Screes that is not for the faint hearted
8. Eskdale to Borrowdale (route)
   An inter-hostel route across the Lakes, joins up with other routes.
9. Eskdale to Buttermere (route)
   An inter-hostel walk through the Lakes. You can break this at Wasdale hostel or Gillerthwaite hostel if desired. Note: the direct route off Red Pike is avoided because of the erosion.
10. Dalwhinnie To Corrour (high level) backpack (route)
    This is a two day backpack (though it could be done in one long day), stopping off at Culra bothy. The route connects with railway stations at each end, but can also be connected with routes through to Fort William for a longer hike
