  1. Fan y Big Circular (route)
A circular walk from Llanfrynach to Fan y Big returning via Gist Wern
  2. Pen y Fan & Cribyn North Circular (route)
A great short walk taking in Pen y Fan and Cribyn from the north via two good short ridges. These routes are not advised in icy conditions.
  3. Neuadd Horseshoe (route)
A popular walk around the Neuadd valley in the Brecon Beacons, taking in the three highest peaks—Corn Du, Pen-y-fan and Cribyn. The walk can be done in either direction: ascents are gentler when done clockwise. For the less enthusiastic or tired, there are ‘cut-off’ paths for each of the three peaks (very useful if you’re doing it anti-clockwise and want to avoid Cribyn).
  4. ‘M4’ circular (route)
A relatively easy hike from pont-ar-daf car park up the ‘M4’ to the top of Pen-y-fan, and back via Corn Du and Tommy Jones’ obelisk.
