  1. Ben Lomand *tourist* (route)
    You can start this somewhat easy route from the car park at the very end of the road. Follow the path through the forest and up onto the ridge. Simply follow this *ridge* to the summit. Come back down they way you came or venture down the Ptarmigan route provided you have the experience. This is a wonderful route in the snow for those who have the required experience.
  2. Willsbridge Mill (route)
    A quick trot around a local nature reserve. The river is fast flowing but safe and the reserve is teeming with birds and has easy to walk paths so everyone can join in.
  3. Fitties Circular (route)
    Flat, can be muddy in places. Wonderful on a clear day. Lots of waders to be seen, also kingfisher, owl.

  5. Verwood to Woodlands (route)
    Off road cycle route of walk from Verwood to Woodlands. Route take you past farms, through picturesque woods and golf course. Views towards Bournemouth. Chance of seeing Buzzards. Explore Dewlands Common before or after the route.
  6. Circular Coastal Walk around the Butt of Lewis (route)
    A beautiful stroll around the northern tip of the Isle of Lewis and Harris. Starting from the car park at Eoropie sand dunes, walk through the village and then up to the lighthouse at the Butt of Lewis. With its grassy banks, the Butt of Lewis is a great place to have a picnic whilst watching the sea birds soaring overhead. From there, follow the coastal path west along the top of the cliffs. See how many caves you can spot hidden in the cliffs below! To finish, walk across the sand dunes back to the car at Eoropie.
