The Wheel, Walters Ash, Speen(route)
A mixture of woods and fields, a bit hilly in parts. Touches the edge of Speen and comes back through Pigotts Wood.

Minster station (near Ramsgate) to Garlinge circular(route)
Minster station to Monkton Roundabout
Leave Minster station via the Ramsgate bound platform, turn left along Station Approach to Station Road. Cross to Watchester Lane and walk to the end, then continue along track passing footpath and level crossing on left. Continue ahead and the track becomes a footpath, which follows the stream to the right and along the edge of fields to Sherriffs Court. Turn right up Sherriff'sCourt Lane to the road. Turn left along The Street and look for the bridleway on the right. Turn right up the bridleway to the A253 road. Then turn left to Monkton Roundabout.
Monkton Roundabout to Minster Road, Acol
Cross the A253 to Seamark Road. Walk along Seamark Road, towards and later beside Thanet Earth greenhouse complex and find the footpath on the right, passing Plumstone Road on the right. Turn right along this footpath away from Thanet Earth to Plumstone Road. Cross Plumstone Road and continue along the farm track between fields all the way to Minster Road, Acol, passing Plumstone Farm to the left on the way.
Minster Road, Acol to Garlinge
Cross the road and turn left towards Acol village and look for the footpath on the right. Turn along this footpath and at the stile, turn left and walk between the field edge and industrial estate fence to the corner, then turn right and continue along the fence

Burnsall - Trollers Gill Circular(route)
River, ravine and moorland. Trollers Gill spectacular little cleft with a bit of a scramble over dry stream bed. Stream runs underground. Pub in Burnsall.

Leave Monkton Nature reserve and cross the A253 road to walk down the lane to the building named "The Royal Exchange", in Monkton. Turn right and walk past Monkton Court Farm and Monkton church (with village stocks) on the right to the end of the lane to meet the A253 road. Cross the road to the lane opposite and continue along this lane to reach the A28 road at St Nicholas Corner. Cross the road to the lane and walk along this lane to reach St Nicholas-at-Wade village. Turn left and walk to St Nicholas-at-Wade church, passing Bell Inn on left and Sun Inn on right.
Turn right along Shuart Lane to the footbridge over the A299 road. Cross the footbridge and continue along Shuart Lane to reach Shuart. At Shuart turn right along the bridleway and continue to Nether Hale Farm. Cross the track and continue along the bridleway to Hale, passing a chalk pit on the left. From Hale continue along the bridleway to Great Brooksend Farm, ignoring the bridleway on the right just before the three stiles and footbridge which lead to Great Brooksend Farm. From this farm walk straight ahead along the footpath between fields, passing through gate(s) and then across the field to Mill Row on the edge of Birchington. Cross the A28 road to Park Avenue. Walk to the end of Park Avenue and turn left along Brunswick Road to Park Lane. Turn right along Park Lane to reach Quex Barn.
Quex Barn to Monkton Nature Reserve
Leave Quex Barn and turn right along Park Lane to reach the junction with Manston Road. Turn left along Manston Road and continue straight ahead at the cross roads to reach the Pumping Station on the left. Ignore the bridleway on the left and turn right along the footpath towards Acol. Walk along the grass track between fields then walk across the field to the industrial estate. Turn left and follow the footpath as it turn right all the way to Acol. Look for the footpath on the right. Turn along this footpath to reach Minster Road near Cleve Court. Turn left and walk by Cleve Court to the footpath on the right. Follow this footpath to Plumstone Road, passing Plumstone Farm on the right. At Plumstone Road walk straight ahead across the field to Seamark Road. Here turn left and walk along Seamark to the roundabout at the junction with the A299 and A253 roads. Cross the A299 to reach the A253 and walk along the road back to Monkton Nature Reserve.
