Circular Coastal Walk around the Butt of Lewis
(route)
A beautiful stroll around the northern tip of the Isle of Lewis and Harris.
Starting from the car park at Eoropie sand dunes, walk through the village and then up to the lighthouse at the Butt of Lewis.
With its grassy banks, the Butt of Lewis is a great place to have a picnic whilst watching the sea birds soaring overhead.
From there, follow the coastal path west along the top of the cliffs. See how many caves you can spot hidden in the cliffs below!
To finish, walk across the sand dunes back to the car at Eoropie.
