The Fritham to Frogham Frolic(route)
A good ride along Forest tracks. Plenty of ups and downs. Great views from Hampton Ridge. Even a pub at the Frogham end (so you should be well rested for the ride back). For the adventurous out there head up (then down and up again) the hill just east of Blissford and down to Pitts Wood, although not a cycle route... naughty boy.
Carlton, Colwick, Burton Joyce & Lambley Loop(route)
Woodland with uphill and downhill sections, twisty and turny flat bridlepaths alongside the trent, leading to open fields via footpaths and bridlepaths, and then the beautiful and mysterious lambley dumble cutting! All areas are linked by roads but you won't be on them for too long! On your journey you pass through some quaint and beautiful little villages! good for walkers and cyclists alike, and quite challenging in places
hotwalls run(route)
seafront run to old portsmouth.
